I have a question
a friend of mine gave me two VCD movies, when I go to play them using PowerDVD or BSPlayer they both tell me that the format is unknown. But he claims they work fine on his home PC, is there a way to analyze the CDs so I can maybe figure out what could be the problem? Maybe I am missing some codec?
Thanx
( I also wonder is he did those in a SVCD, would that stop me from playing them on a Windows 2000 Pro PC? )
Edit:
One other thing I noticed is that when I do get it to play the video is 90 % covered with green blocks & the audio is really squeeky
