  1. I have a couple of DivX movies that r in letter box mode, now how do i convert them so that there NOT in letter box mode.
Ive tryed using the setting in Tmpgenc ' No margin(keep aspect ratio) ' like i read in one of the guides somewhere but that only cuts of some of the picture and makes every thing look squashed.

So how do i do it ???? '''' someone must know ''''

  2. Try encoding it in "full screen".

  3. You need to use the 'clip frame' option. I aways clip an equal ratio from the sides and the top and bottom. (based on the source resolution).

example: if the source is 720x480 (dvd rip), the ratio is 720/480 = 1.50.

i would clip 24 pixels from each side and 16 pixels from the top and bottom (24/16 = 1.50). Or 48 sides, 32 top and bottom (48/32 = 1.50).

Set the video arrange method to 'Full Screen(Keep aspect ratio)'

Note: try to clip in multiples of 8 or 16 pixels.
