d/led movies for awhile never ran into this problem

the movie is a 2 disc svcd but when i unrar each disc the files are in 2 mpgs each, named johnq1.mpg/jonhq1-01.mpg for disc 1 and johnq2.mpg/johnq2-02.mpg for disc 2. johnq1.mpg is about 690 megs and johnq1-01.mpg is about 100 megs and same for disc 2. i've converted mpgs to svcd bin/cues b4 but have never done it for 2 mpgs on each disc. tried converting it regular by just holding ctrl and clicking both files to convert into 1 bin/cue but it doesn't work. just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before and how do i fix it so i can convert them and burn them. thanx in advance for any help.

Why are there 2 .mpg per disk ? have you played them to see what they are ?
Can you join them in TMPGEnc ? V 12J is good with SVCD

Any authoring program can except 2 or more mpeg files. Nero, Easy CD, Video Pack etc etc

I would bet that it was somebody's lazy way of essentially creating chapters. Instead of fast forwarding thru the whole file to get to near the end of the disk, whoever did this cut each disk in half to make it a little easier to scan through.

That's my guess.
