  1. I am making a vcd from a DVD and I am stuck on putting the .aiff and .mov files together. I have tried opening the .mov file and then dragging the .aiff file onto it but it becomes seperated into differernt parts. The begging of the movie has all the audio and then halfway through the audio stops and the picture starts playing. Please help.

ok, open both audio and video as 2 seperate files. put cursor to very beginning of each. now in audio window, edit/select all (command-a). then edit/copy (command-c). now go into video window. make sure cursor is at very beginning, then do edit/add. dont do add scaled. this should join your audio and video properly, but if not read on.

if u experience sync problems with this first joined movie, go back to your 2 original files audio and video. select all of the video, then try ADD SCALED to the audio. this should solve ur sync problems, if u even have any to begin with . dont pay attention to this second paragraph if everything works out in first paragraph, i dont wanna confuse u. if u still have problems let me know.

  3. I tried both of your methods and I am still having problems. The first time I tried the audio was running faster than the video and ended before the movie was over. The second time I tried the audio and video seemed to be running at the same speeds and matched up in the very beginning of the movie, but the audio got ahead of the video very soon.

  4. Use QT Mutator to sync the audio and video.
