    i just got a pen cam a few days ago and when i take 30 second movies the files are around 700 megs. which is HUGE. i would like to run them through a codec to make them alot smaller. i was wondering how i do this? i'm using TMPGEnc and know it pretty good.

    Are these AVI's ?

    Well anyway load into Vdub, select Video > compression > Codec

    Try a few different ones, DivX low motion is good, you can change the bitrate lower to get smaller files.
