Hi, ive backed up about 6 dvds and theyve all worked good. but the latest one that i tried, it comes out with the wrong language. (ie. i want english). i use smartripper / dvd2avi / tmpgenc / . is there a way i can select what language i want? please tell me how i do this. thankyou so much!

Sure thing, when using Smartripper make sure your IFO file is checked and when your done ripping, open it up in notepad. You will see a list of tracks and languages (if available). Then when you load your vob's in dvd2avi, under audio, there is a list of tracks to select. Select the English track and Ta da!
If you dont know what track your English audio is on, just try a different audio track in Dvd2avi. -
you could also try the stream processing mode in smart ripper as this lists all the audio tracks and you can select which one you want.
