    For some strange reason, tmpgenc wont let me load the .d2v file i have just ripped from a dvd. I tried fixing the enviromental settings, and even went to the newbie tmpgenc comon problems, but nothing works. I really need help!

    You are, most likely, missing the VFAPI plugin.

    Look in your DVD2AVI directory -- you should find a file called 'DVD2AVI.vfp'. Copy this file into TMPGEnc and it should start working. I have run into at least one release of DVD2AVI that does not include this, so if the file is not there try downloading another version.
