  2. Yes only movies but you need the DVD remote that they sell for the X Box
but if you want to play backup games you need a mod chip. For the DVD-R
movies you need the remote because you can't even watch regular DVDs with out it. And if you want to play backup games you need a mod chip like playstation but if you get the mod chip there is a bunch of stuff coming out for it like a VCD/Divx player and so many emulators for systems like NES, SNES, N64, Sega and I can't remember the rest. Check out this web site http://www.xb-power.com/ and you can find out what is going on with the X Box.

  4. Are you talking about the mod chip? If you are there is a chip called the Enigmah chip witch works with European PAL, American NTSC and Japanese NTSC. If you would like to look at it go to http://www.divineo.net/ and select your country. This may not be the cheapest place for the chip so shop around. Or are you talking about the DVD remote because I'm sure there are Pal remotes and if there isn't it probably depends on the system if it's Pal it souldn't change but I'm not sure. http://www.lik-sang.com/catalog/product_info.php?category=82&products_id=1633& this is a Jap DVD remote.

ok...i have the chip but it isnt the enigmah chip, i was wondering if there was some sort of region x like the ps2 that lets me use pal dvds, is there?

  6. Which chip do you have because all but one that I've seen say DVD Region reset enabled allowing any region DVD dongle to be used thus allowing multi-DVD region playback support. And there is a DVD Region X but the site I looked at says the they are temporarily not available so if you got a chip try that first then if it doesn't work try to find a DVD Region X.
