people, i am searching desperately for answers
am using CCE as my new method of encoding XSVCD and am framserving through DVD2AVI using VFAPI to make a dummy .AVI
after encoding i have found the perfect settings and the quality looks fine on PC and on my uncle's DVD player
however on my DVD player i get these awful green lines all over my picture and only when i put the movie in fast forward do i see it properly
here are the specs
i can play XVCD
and have played standard bitrate but variable frame size SVCD before
my tv is 4:3, his TV is 16:9, encoding in aspect ratio of 16:9
PAL system on both
does anybody know if its possible that the aspect ratio is causing this problem, i never have had this problem with 16:9 XVCD's on my TV, jus the shape turns out funny, however i have never used CCE either
can i maybe adjust some of the Video settings such as which field comes first or the progressive function??
any help would be appreciated
