I need a very simple question (maybe) answerd

ok i have a playstation 2

playstation 2's play dvd's

i want to play vcd's i burn off my comp on a cd on it

my friends who vcd stuff to play on their dvd players tell me "it's not possible playstation has a security thing blah blah blah!"

i know they know nothing and are retarded

there has to be a way

can someone please please pleeeaaassseee help me with this (as in what process i need to go through to actualy burn movies that can be played on the ps2)

i will be forever greatfull if someone can help me with this!

Hi,

A Playstation 2 cannot play VCD's by itself !!! Maybe there is/will be some software which makes it possible, but the Player itself just doesn't support VCD's.
There is however a program to convert your VCD movie to a Movie-disc-thingy that plays on you Playstation 2. Only problem is, you need to convert all the movies you want on your PS2 to a non standard format only playable on your PS2 !
If you're still interested do a forum search for vcd and playstation 2. I posted a message earlier to the same question with a link to the needed software to create one of these discs.
