After i rip the dvd with smart ripper, i am having trouble loading the video source (.d2v) file. TMPGenc says that the file cannot be opened, and is unsupported. When i look under the properties, it says that the file is only like 600 kb. I have ripped many different movies, and all of the .d2v files are much smaller that what they should supposed to be.
Does anyone have any idea on what i should do to fix this?

Have you read the "how to - newbie" section on "tmpgenc common problems"? This one is in there, with a solution.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
