help with 3 hour vcd

I have acquired a vcd which has three 60 min films on it.when i play it on my pc it has its own player on disc.sony videopress.the disc will not play on my dvd player,philips 711.i have made several vcds from dvd rip which have all played.the disc seems in vcd format with the .dat files in the mpegav folder.when i try nero to make a vcd it brings up errors.tmpg freezes and virtual dub brings up asf format not supporte

It doesn't seem that you actually have a VCD, rather a disc with some ASF movies...

how do i convert this to vcd.i have tried tmpgenc.vcd gear says invalid mpeg pack size.virtual dub don't work.the disc layout seems the same as vcd with the same folders.only difference is the win folder with the sony video press player.but
