  1. hello everyone

after downloading some div-x (i presume) avi files from off the net i tried to mpeg them using tmpeg. All i get is the audio box filled but no video. when i try to get the video part i get an error message. So i try virtual dub to load it in and re-save it to an avi with my div-x 5 codec but all i get in the preview window is a black picture. weird!!! anyway i cant save it out as an old avi and it wont mpeg in tmpeg or any encoder actually. does anyone know why??? its really bugging me. i can rip a dvd and its fine with div-x 5 and tmpeg... what are these people doing to the avi's? The weird thing is that they play in media player and power dvd !! strange !! hellllppppp

  3. Maybe it has a wierd codec - do a file information check in Virtualdub.

You might need the nemo codec pack to help.
