I've been experimenting with putting ST-TNG episodes onto minidvd. I finally put them on one CDR and I am amazed at how good they look on the TV screen. To get them on one CDR I use Rempeg to trancode them at 35% yielding a 600MB .m2v,then I use IFOedit to merge the .m2v back into the vob steam with only the 2 channel audio stream. Results in a vob about 685MB that can be burned with Nero onto one CDR. I am really surprised at how good they look. I thought the 35% trancode would look poor but not the case. They look better than any SVD I've ever seen and they preserve the ac3 audio, chapters of the DVD.
