  1. Been downloading movies a few months now and never paid much attention to total run time of them.Seemed a few were shorter than original run time but just a few minutes which I chalked up to credits starting and ending movie. But noticed big cuts in a few movies last couple weeks. Example-MEN IN BLACK-RUN TIME 88 MINUTES. I got 5 different files with totals from 79-82 minutes.ROAD TO PERDITION- 119 MINUTES.Got 4 versions no longer than 112 minutes. REIGN OF FIRE -105 MINUTES .Got 6 files not one longer than 85 minutes. And last HALLOWEEN RESSURECTION -85 MINUTES.Got 4 files no longer than74 minutes.Anyone have a clue why this is?They all play fine start to finish. Is it just new movies?Been bugging me and dont realy know where to ask for this info.Thanx if you can help.

  3. Multiple reasons why this can happen. Alot of movies arent pirated from America so in the country it was taken from it may have been edited to meet certain ratings, standards etc. Another reason is as you said the credits being cut out. Take Men in Black 2, although the running time is 88 minutes it only runs for 81 minutes without the end credits so a file in length of 79-82 minutes is usually a correct time length. Other reasons for it being shorter than the proper length include the source for it coming from a work print or an advanced copy of the film where not everything is the same as the final product. Also the person filming the film in the theatre may have been interrupted or had to change battery/tape so before releasing they cut those sections out.

  4. Like he said, many countries (especially china) censor violence, sex, and other objectionable scenes out of a movie and ALOT of these movies come out of asia. How do I know, many of my movies have chinese subtitles on them. Overall, I check it out by finding the real run time and finding the closest to it. Also, see how many people have the file. If you see only 1 person and the file is blatantly weird (ie- a movie reported to be 2hours is suddenly 90) its probably a fake. but if you find the results show like 8-12 people with it, its probably real.
