dysfunctional bbmpeg & flask 0.6

[statuspending]

whenever i try add a file to the batch list in bbmpeg, it tells me that the file is unreadable. what gives?

also, in flask 0.6, i can sometimes open a .m2v file without crashing the program, but all the pull-down menus are gray and i cannot process it without setting some options.... what gives?
