Creating a Powerpoint VCD to Play on a JVC Karaoke Player

I have a VCD/CDG JVC Karaoke Player. I want to create very basic VCD's that will play on it (1-10 pages perhaps). Each page will have information on it e.g. info on what to do at the karaoke evening and what's coming up over the next few weeks - it will be displayed on a tv screen for everyone to read. I've seen this done - it has a blue background and looks like it's been done on powerpoint (or something similar). Does anyone know how to re-create this (please keep it simple i'm ok but not brilliant when it comes to technical things)

I can get you started by saying that PowerPoint has an option to save each slide as jpeg image file. It will save each slied as slide1.jpg, slide2.jpg etc. Once you have these take a look at http://www.vcdhelp.com/VCDslideshow.htm

Can't say I have done this myself but at least its a starting point!
