track 0 - english? ripping porn audio problem

hello, a friend of mine has successfully ripped about 8 or 9 dvd's. (all were regular motion pictures). He has borrowed 2 porn movies from someone but has been unsuccessful at ripping either one of them. he uses smartripper, ends up with the normal vob's and they all have audio.
in dvd2avi, he has used the no audio option and then vob2audio, and also has tried track 1 and track 2 thinking that maybe the reason track 1 didn't work was because it was the dts track. I gave him headac3he because he did get an ac3 file when using the track 1 option in dvd2avi. he used headac3he to convert the ac3 to wav, then tried encoding that in tmpgenc and still the finished mpeg he gets has no audio. I even downloaded the newest dvd2avi 1.86 which supposedly handles dts audio, but he just called me and said the same thing. I don't get it. like I said he has many rips that came out perfect, this is the first time he has had trouble.
I know this is rather long, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
he has a monster system. amd athlon 1.8Ghz, 528 MB DDR RAM, ATI all-in-wonder 64MB video card, 60 gig 7200 rpm hard drive..
oh yeah, he says that in one of the programs, (i'm not sure which one) it tells him that track 0 is english. both the porns were over 3 hours long as well. . thanks in advance to whoever replies with suggestions or knowledge......

well im basically replying because im also trying to rip more than 3hr worth of video....video encodes and burns to cd fine......but no sound.....using smartripper, dvd2avi, tmpgenc, and nero......any advice will be helpful.......thx
