  1. I am currently using the ATI All In Wonder Radeon to capture from VHS & I find that my video is very pixelated. Can someone recommed a capture card that will preserve the quality of my original video?

  2. For the bext VCD captures, try the ProVideo PV-231 or 233 cards.
For Mpeg2 captures, try the Hauppauge PVR 250 or PVR USB.

  3. What kind of settings are you using?

I'm using vdub to capture from VHS using an ATI Radeon 7500 AIW. I capture at 720x480 using huffyuv, then encode using Nandub with some custom settings, crop, deinterlace then resize to 512x384.

The picture quality is excellent. I see very little pixellation.
