  1. I just purchased a Pioneer A04. I havent recieved it yet. Im just trying to prepare for it. This is what Im doing. Im using Virtualdub to capture off my satellite. I capture at 720x480. Then Im using TMPGE to encode. Now here is where I have questions.
To encode for DVD I leave the resolution at 720x480?
To encode for DVD I encode to MPEG2?
Do I have to deinterlace my AVI like I did when I was making VCD's?
I have read all the guides on this site and none of them show how to go from AVI to DVD. Most show just the opposite DVD to AVI. Or DVD to VCD. Just a few questions not to sure about. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks Boxingjunkie
