I was trying to remove hiss from video, so I loaded the mpg file in virtual dub and got the audio saved in .wav format, edited in nero wave editor with metalize noise removal command, the hiss came out and the audio sounded pretty good, except a few of the sounds here and there were altered. I saved it in .wav form loaded it up in TMPEG audio source and ran it so it saved it as MP2 form. Then I loaded the video in multiplex screen along with audio and combined them. The final version is way better than what I had. Was there a simpler way to do this? How can I get a better quality sound without altering other sounds?
