  1. Hi-

I have burned VCDs in the past and had some success. Where I fail is the video noise? Can anyone get it near perfect? I can video tape DVDs and there is NO video-movement noise at all. It looks better than a VHS tape believe it or not. The quality is awesome(For VHS THAT IS)..

I want to start making DVD's to VCD's... I use Clad DVD to rip it due to being able to rip the ENTIRE movie as one file, thus having to worry about all the vob files and audio miss/sync.

Does anyone recomend someones TMPEG template for VCDs that reduce the most video noise? I also want to be able to get as much tv screen as possible.

I am not as concerened loosing screen size as I am with video noise? I am in america so the DVDs are NTSC.... So I wish to remain NTSC.

Thanks for your help if anyone could?

  2. You can find various templates in the tools section... but you must realise that VCD has its limitations, dont expect DVD quality....

  3. MH-

Yeah you're right about the quality. I really don't expect dvd quality but vhs quality... I am going to stick to taping them..... Seeing how the quality is better than vcd......

I get noise when I try to do a vcd? I tried other templates also... Still noise.. So when I tape them, I get NONE.... Till I get a DVD burner this is it for me.....

    Thanks for your reply...
