    Help, can anyone out theregive me an idiots step by step guide on how to convert Avi to burn onto a DVD-R, so that it can be played on a standalone DVD player. I have the Sonic MyDVD and VOB InstantDVD programmes but I do not understand the jargon they use.
    Sorry if this sounds pathetic but I am am complete novice at this, and not much further on at using the PC !!!
