Hi everyone.
I have an Apex AD-1100W (macrovision disabled & region free) and I'm trying to run it through my S-VHS JVC 3911U VCR. The VCR works fine, but I can't figure out how to get the DVD player to work. The VCR has S-video input and output. I ran an S-video out from the DVD into the VCR. Then I ran another S-video cable out from the VCR into the TV. I also ran audio cables from DVD to VCR and then from VCR to TV. I assume the VCR must be on for the DVD player to run. Am I missing a step? Should it be on a certain channel? I tried the auxilary on the VCR and it was blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most JVC VCR's have more than aux input. On mine, I have to raise or lower the channel selector to get to the various aux inputs.
