    Goto guides at the left here...look for newbie guides...Sefeys are good.

    In a nut shell...use a encoder, like TMPGenc to Convert (or encode) what you have to a VCD compatable mpeg1 file.
    Take that and use your burner, like Nero to burn to a CDR/RW using it VCD template...it will automaticly set up the VCD in corect format.

    Look for information on subtitles to the left...under authoring or players ...
    also search links for doom9... they gots some good guides.
    I don't use em (subs) they distract from over all picture.... so thats all I can say about them.
