  1. We have a very hot topic right now that we think needs to be explained before all hell breaks loose. We are seeing a lot of new movies out there being encoded using OGG Audio and having the OGM file extension on the end of the file. Yes, these files will play on our computers just fine but what we are most concerned about is converting them to MPEGs for making them into VCD/SVCD/DVDs. The file with the .ogm extension will not open up in VirtualDub. It WILL load into TMPGe, but when we try to convert it we get "error occurred when ACM was initialized." This topic has been bounced back and forth for a few weeks now, but no one has given step by step instructions on how to do the conversion.
HOW DO YOU CONVERT OGG/OGM FILES TO MPEGs?
Please help us! For those power converters out there that have the knowledge to share with all of us we would greatly appreciate it. You would probably get the hero of the month award.

  2. I found the way to do this and the results have been nothing short of amazing when done properly. You are going to need a program called GraphEdit to begin with. I honestly dont have the instructions memorized but on some of the posts there is a text file that explains how to use GraphEdit. Give me a couple of days to put some info together......... Its actually pretty easy once you get it going and like I said the quality rocks..

I tend to use it on the classic 50s style monster/scifi flicks and havent had any trouble yet
