i'm seriously considering buying Pinnacle Express DV. does anyone here have experience with it? good or bad? or would Studio Version 7 be a better deal?
i just need something good and stable to capture and then edit with Premiere 6 and output to DVD and/or VCD.
thanks.

If your looking just to capture, why don't you check out the tools section on the left. Also why don't you just Premiere?
I haven't used Pinnacle express dv. The pinnicale products that I have used have all worked fine for capturing (well if its coming from dv its actually not a capture but a transfer of digital data). FYI the products were studio dv and studio 7 (i think, didn't use it for long). -
thanks.
im still using premiere, but i still need a firewire capture card. that's why i was looking at express dv.
