ULead DVD Moviefactory 1150kbps/1123kbps Question

Hey!

Can anyone tell me if there is a workaround (besides re-encoding) to let ULead open my TMPGEnc encoded 1150kbps MPEG1 file?

I found out that ULead rather "eats" 1123kbps MPEG1's and dismisses all others as "not compliant VCD/SVCD/DVD MPEG files".

Can anyone assist me in this matter please?

When I check in VDub the TMPGEnc encoded VCD MPEG1 file seems to be 1140kbps, even when doing a Simple Multiplex to VCD MPEG1 it STAYS 1140... That might be the problem. But still the question remains, how can I open thm in ULead??

Can you be a little more specific as to:

-Exactly what "eats" means?
-Ulead product type and version number?
-TMPGEnc version number?
-Did you use an unmodified template included with TMPGEnc, or was it some XVCD template you downloaded or modified?

It only eats = I can only load just certain files.
ULead DVD Moviefactory = latest version.
TMPGEnc = v2.54a (just saw newer version).
Templates = Standard ones.

How I work:

Take for instance a DiVX of about 2 hours length, I first rip audio with Virtual Dub, then re-encode the MPEG and WAV with TMPGEnc, last cut to size with Mediaware Solutions Myflix 3.06 and after that usually burn with Nero. Nero doesn't want to take the file, so I do a 'Simple Multiplex' with TMPGEnc again and THEN burn with Nero. (v5.5.8.2)
Recently I picked up the ULead proggie and when I try to load the file created like above, it gives the warning about the incompatible MPEG file.

Is that enough info, or need more?
