Looking for a good mini-DV to capture from digital cable and at times VCR. Only have about $1000 to spend, could someone point me in the right direction? My profile has all my info..

Ok
Let me sound more like a newbie..
I'm looking for a good MiniDV that can do analog to digital caps. Record TV shows so I can create svcd copies to play at work. Would the Sony DCR-TRV25 be a good choice? Or is there a better/cheaper miniDV? -
I have the Sony TRV25 and I am happy with it. Most miniDV camcorder (except for Sony) do not have a pass through feature. So I think that it is a good choice.
