    has anybody got any info on sharp dv-560 vcd compatibility ?
    it says vcd on the front but cant seem to play cd-r or cd-rw
    can anyone help ?

    Are you trying to play "origional vcd's" (from a manufacturer) or a "burnt copy" (something you made)? Maybe your dvd player plays VCD's but ask yourself... does my dvd player play cd-r?

    But i'm looking for a hack for it runs CD-R.. is it possible?

    i have not tried originals but i have tried cd-r and cd-rw both silver but still no joy !! maybe its a speed thing i burnt them both at 4x
