  1. I've got some MP2 files captured with ATI AIW Radeon and would like to burn it to a DVD. I've tried using MovieFactory but it complains audio format is not compatible with program (?). TMPGenc says the format is not supported for conversions... So, pleeease, how do I convert this MP2 file into something I can use for DVD authoring?

BTW, it looks like ATI's MMC is the only software that writes video directly in MPG-2, right? All others save in AVI and then take forever doing conversions... Isn't there a software to capture MPEG-2 directly without using alien formats compatible with nothing?

    Thank you for any hints!

    Marcos.

  2. Is the MMC that you have the newest 7.7 if not then maybe the audio is captured at 44.1 khz instead of 48 khz.

  3. Yes, before MMC 7.7, it wouldn't capture 48kHz audio, but MMC 7.7 will (better late than never). If you have existing mpeg-2 files that have 44.1kHz audio, you'll probably want to de-multiplex them, convert the audio from 44.1kHz to 48kHz, then re-multiplex them. If the videio stream isn't DVD-complaint, you may have to fiddle with that as well, but try the audio first.
