I have a vast SVCD collection where I transferred my home videos to SVCD. I captured them via VirtualDub, encoded via TMPGEnc, then burned on CD-R via Nero. They play back on my Computer with no problems.
I recently bought a Samsung DVD-C621 DVD Player because of its SVCD playback capabilities. However, upon hookup and playback of my SVCDs, it plays normally for a few seconds then the video begins to jitter. It also appears that, every two seconds, the picture pauses for less than a second then continues its jitter. When I pause the picture and resume playback, it plays normally then proceeds to jitter. DVDs, on the other hand, play with no problems.
Does someone know what could be causing the above problem? Thanks in advance for helping me out.
