i've been using tmpg to make my movies. hands down, the constant quality option has produced outstanding vcd's. after an enitre film has been processed, a 'complete' sound wave notifies the user the file is done as well as the display of the encoding log. well somewhere down the line, the movie would reach 100%, read that there is no time left but would not display the log to let the user know the project was complete, and with constant quality, unless the process finalizes, the .mpg file is completely useless. is there some way to make sure the file completely processes?
