    I seemed to try to for what seemed like ages to do it. I finally came across a post that recommended ASFTools to do it. Suggest you try it that way, as I was able to accomplish it.

    With mpeg I guess you mean mp3. If so just search on http://www.google.com and type "WMA to mp3" and you'll find a encoder for that.
