    is anyone looking for a way to get around it? if so, how close are you to dismantling macrovision?

    I have the SZ0 file which will make it region free and MAC off, you will need the download tool in order to reprogramme the flash, I can send it to you if you need the SZ0 file that is

    @dvdman69, can you mail me the famous SZ0 file ? Can you explain what is this famous download file and where to buy it ? Is it a simple cable ? Do you need to open the DV-444 case, solder something ? In case of trouble (i.e. to still benefit from Pioneer warranty), is it possible to reflash to the original state ?
