    It is possible to convert an SVCD in to VCD so it will play on a VCD player, not many players support SVCD and i need to convert it. Could somebody plaese tell me how this is done. Thank You.

    The only method i'm familiar with, is re-encoding, which will of course result in lower quality, but then again, VCD is lower quality then SVCD anyway

    ..or try the so called Panasonic trick to rewrite mpeg 1 headers
    to a mpeg 2 program stream. Do a search on the forum for
    panasonic & SVCD
