Hi

I've got a little problem here.
I have just received some DVD-R discs from the US. And I have tried to play them on my standalone Pioneer DV-515 (multiregion) player. They start for a couple of minutes and then the counter stops and after a couple of minutes the picture freezes. All the discs are 120 minute ones. I have tried them at my PS2 (PAL) player, and then they are fine (except no color). I have used DVD-R discs from work before (60 min, Apple - PAL) and then I
have had no problems.

Does anybody have any solution to the problem except changing the DVD
player?
I'm not to keen on "chipping" the PS2 machine either,
