Ok, if I take an AVI file that is 544x304 23.976 frame and use Tmpenc...at 352x240 at 25fps...its is ok, but I do not get a widescreen version.

If I try to encode it at 544x302 at 23.976....it will not work right on the dvd player (which works great for everthing).

I even change it to 29 fps...no go..

So what is the Trick...I am tired of making coasters.

do I need to change the 4:3 NTSC setting?...

What you need to do is change the source aspect raio to VGA 1:1 and then make the thing full screen keep aspect ratio
