    I was reading with interest a post about the above player stating that if was able to play MP3 and SVCD, well mine don't !!!!!!!!

    Any advice on functions I need to enable would be welcomed !!!

    PS For budget player, u get what u pay for !!!!

    The test SVCD download from this site works perfectly on my Wharfedale 750 - however, all other SVCD's lock up after a few secs. This leads me to believe that SVCD's can be played on the Wharfedale 750 (I have seen it done), but the encoding must be spot on for it to work. I will post again when I know more.
    All of the ones I have d/l'd freeze after a few secs, but I am not giving up hope yet.
