  1. I used a program called dvd2svcd, and only used rip, and it put some vob files on my haredrive. What i am trying to do is copy the movie of a dvd to a backup, how do i burn it?I'm using nero 5.5.8.2.
Is a backup dvd just like a big svcd?do i need to change any files, or can i just drag and drop the vob files?

Now what? First, take off your left shoe. Second, stand on your head for no less than 12.5 minutes. Third,...

What I'm trying to say, is why don't you tell us what you are trying to do?

  3. Evil,

You insult us all with your post. Everyone here is trying to help each other as we discover all methods of creating VCD's, SVCD's, etc., but we all have one thing in common (I hope). That is, we actually read the guides, and look at the threads, and get a flavor of what everything is about before we ask any questions on this forum. From your post, it is obvious to me that you have not bothered to read any guides, and, even worse, didn't even formulate a question that we can answer. Go read the DVD to SVCD guides, and then ask your question.

  5. OK,

If the movie does not fit (ie, more than 4.7GB or so) you can follow the instructions in this guide: http://www.dvd2dvdr.com/ Hope this helps you out.
