    Hallo,

    I'm looking into buying a CHEAP dvd-rom to use just to rip dvds, then make SVCDs. Anything I should look out for/look for in a cheap model?

    I've bought 2 for <$30 after rebates and they have worked very well for me. They came with WINDVD which is a good program and actually costs more than the burner if it was bought separately.
