  1. I burned a SVCD and everything worked fine. But when I play in on my DVD player(Apex 660) the video plays back with large black borders on the left and right. How do I get the video to play back at a normal resolution for TV viewing.

    Software Used:
    Virtual Dub: Video Format 480x480
    Huffyuv Codec
    Image format YUY2
    TMPGEnc12h
    VCDimagerGUI
    CDRWIN demo: burned at 1x

Hope I given enough information to get a response. I've just started experimenting with this a week ago.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Nop, you have not given very important info yet. How do you encode using TMPGEnc ? What are the settings? These infos are very crucial to the outcome of the SVCD.

  3. the "source aspect ratio", "output aspect ratio", and "video arrange method" are the parameters you have to change to fix this. without your settings, it's hard to say, but try
1:1 source, 'show at center' (not 'keep aspect ratio')
    4:3 output ratio
