I had seen a post where someone with an ATI all in wonder was capturing directly to a cd. I have looked for the post but to no avail. Help also to get the scheduler to operate when the system is in sleep mode would be my other battle

i don't know if that's possible with an ATI board.
You'd need a hardware encoder because the cpu has to command the burner as well as the capturing.
Youd need a 1.5ghz+ system to do this.
I don't htink cpu's are fast enough to softencode mpeg and command a cd burner. -
My p4 - 1.7 with dual raid arrays ( used mainly for multi track audio recording) is pretty fast and I remember that the other user was running with the ATI card- but maybe I got my facts wrong. Would have been nice though.
