Hi, has anyone had any success in ripping The Mummy Returns?
I have tried different bit rates but no joy.

    Hi FT Shark.
During the first opening scenes, untill the end of the battle scene with the Scorpion King. Everything is very pixelated. I encode with TMPGEnc version 2.50. I am a newbie at this but I have tried different bit rates all the way up to 2903. Am I missing something like its not the bit rates but something else?

  5. I too am having trouble with Mummy Returns (DVD -> SVCD). I used TMPGEnc @23.97fps / 4:3 (as original DVD was). At the beginning of the movie where the Scorpion king's army is fighting the pharoah's army, I get pixel blocks on the screen when they are running towards each other. There may even be some noise issues as well. I tried the noise filter and it did seem to help the noise out, but no improvement on the pixel blocks. I am going to try another movie (Planet of the Apes) to see if it does any better.

    Any ideas?
