Hello everbody! I am new to all of this and I am having fairly good progress (after much confusion!) encoding divx to vcd and svcd to vcd. Now I am ready to learn more. Can someone explain to me what batch encoding is and how it works? I assumed it means that you can encode several files together in one "batch", but when I tried it my audio was screwed. It may have been due to another mistake I made, but in order to be sure, I need to find out exactly what batch encoding is. There isn't many straightforward guides out there about tmpge except for tmpge explained, but I don't know what half of thet stuff means or how I can apply it to my projects! So anyway, lets start with the batch encoding stuff, and if anyone is willing, maybe I can work my way up to the more "technically advanced" stuff!

    Peace,

Please answer as soon as possible. I am working on a few things now and It would be lovely if I could encode them all at once, if it can be done practically! :P :P :P

  2. batch encoding is basically a list of files for tmpgenc to convert. once you've added all your files to the list, press 'start' and it'll start encoding the first one, then it'll do the rest in the order you specified on the list, till they're all done. there's a box you can check for your PC to shut down after everything's encoded.. ideal if you wanna leave it encoding overnight.
