Problem with Sourceforge WDM Drivers?

I'm trying to install the universal drivers for my Hauppauge wintv fm (model 401) capture card and the setup seems to go through flawlessly until i reboot the system. When i reboot i hear audio from what i would assume in a tv station before i even open any program. This doesnt happen with the hauppauge drivers but with these universal ones i hear the audio from a station but nothing is open. Also i dont know if this is related or not but dscaler also crashed while this audio was playing in the background. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would appreciate it. Thanks, Rob

I do not know all, but I am pretty sure that dscaler will not work with the btwincap drivers. It crashes on my system when I launch dscaler with these drivers - supposed to be fixed with the next version of dscaler. As for the sound, I don't know. I am using the drivers with the PCTV card.
