  1. I'm hoping somebody can help me with the following problem. I have an LG DV4721P CD/DVD player, bought in Australia. I recently spend alot of money on a DVD that I purchased from America. When I put the DVD in the player it comes up ' Check Regional Code' . Is there any way of getting around this? I think the DVD player is automatically set to region 4.
Any help would be most appreciated.
    Thanks.

Try this - courtesy of www.dvdblokes.com....

"1. Turn Player on with no disc inside
    2. Press pause on the remote control
    3. Then key in 3 1 4 1 5 9
[CODE -- will then be displayed on the player display]
    4. Key in desired Region number
[0 for Auto Multi Region, or manually select 1 to 6]
    5. Then Press Pause again
    6. Turn off player and wait 5 seconds, then back on again.

If you are having problems getting the hack to work, try pressing stop on the remote before you press pause for the first time.

We take no responsibility for damages caused by following these instructions."

Link to their site - they seem to specialize in Region 1,2 & 4...
