Audio Capture problem - WinXP and Dazzle DVC 80

Hello all

I have a problem, I am using WinXP Pro and a Dazzle DVC 80 capture and I am unable to capture the audio, well I hear a quick 1 to 2 second distorted sound then nothing.

I just upgraded to WinXP (Well clean install) and when I had my Win98 I was able to capture the audio. After the install of WinXP I can’t get the audio.

By the way, I am using the AVI-IO, WinXP Movie Maker, and VirtulDub. The audio problem happens on all three software titles.

I am useing the Dazzle to capture the Video and Audio.

I tried useing my Soundcard to capture but nothing.

Any Help would be nice...

See if you're using Line In as your input (on your sound card). If not then change it.

Did you go to the Download support section oF Dazzle to see if your product needs to be updated for Win Xp?

I have tried the Audio on my Dazzle and the Soundcard.
Nothing

I also have the dazzle update shown above.

Still nothing

Then contact Dazzle Support. We can only guess at the problem. If you want a solution, then contact them.

Now I am tring the SVCD thing and I hame having problems with the Dazzle capturing in bigger formats. I think the biggest is 320X260 or something like that.

any ideas (other than getting a different capture card) on how to get the capture any bigger?
