more information on Tmpge and Virtual Dub

I am slowly and steadily learning more about conversion and I like using tmpge and Vdub, which I found out about from the guides here on VCDhelp. Since these programs have worked so great for me, I would like to be able to use them to their fullest capabilities as I learn more. The only thing is that I can't find any help files or complete manuals about them. Everything that I know I learnd from a combination of reading the guides here and trial and error (and more errror!). If anyone out there knows where I can go to learn the ins and outs of these programs including info about settings and how I can use them to improve my video, I would appreciate your help. Thanks!

Liquid, what up? Yes I have seen and read that information (tmpge explained), but I think that it was intended for those that know more than me to begin with. I mean, I don't even know what those terms mean...I guess there may not be a guide for that, huh? what about vdub?
