Apex AD-1500 DVD-R(W) compatiblility

I just got a dvd write and have an apex ad-1500 player. The only media I have for my dvd writer is some Pioneer Dvd-rw media. The movie(dvd) i burned doesnt work on my apex. Does anyone know if its the media? What media is confirmed to work for the apex 1500.

It must be the way you burned it. I have no problems reading a DVD Video burned to DVD-RW(Pioneer or Verbatim)

I burnt the same way to a plain dvd-r and it worked great. Any ideas of what I could have done wrong?

Can you copy the DVD-R disk you created to your DVD-RW. If you are using nero you can use DVD-Copy. The only other suggestion I can give is to do a full erase and try again. I created a disk last friday with MYDVD 3.0 and burned it to DVD-RW. I had no problems playing it in both of my Apex 1500 players.

Hmm, when I go to do a full erase with PrimoDVD it gives me an error, maybe the disk itself is bad.

Wierd, I was able to fully erase the disk and then burnt it again, same thing. Well anyway, what DVD-R or DVD-RW media do you know works in the APEX-AD1500?
